This video is a public talk that Fleet gave at an event organized by Mindful New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM on August 9, 2016. Fleet discusses the deeply disturbing social dynamic where tough discipline policies and the presence of police officers in schools, disproportionately funnel minority students into the prison system. He advocates increased individual and community responsibility for our schools and mindfulness training for teachers and students to make a difference.
