Gratitude

Updated: May 26, 2020

Letter from a Books Behind Bars recipient:

“I am so proud to be a Buddhist practitioner. Receiving a book from you all makes me feel like I’m not so alone, and that acts of loving kindness do exist within misery that people like me are and have been going through. You all make many many prisoners so happy with the simple gift of books that turn into not so simple huge feelings of hope in such a great way. Thank you for your gifts of loving kindness. I’ll never forget you all. I’m so happy, in a not so happy place. At least for now, in this moment.

My best wishes. “
